Unidentified house

This small cottage, perhaps a summer house, was captured in a pair of photographs found within a Baker family photo album. The house was likely designed by Nichols for a yet-to-be-identified family member. It closely recalls the family’s Wilton House—in the detailing of the small windows under the eaves—and the Bakers’ house in the hand-hewn porch posts.
